CBS has given full season orders to both of its new dramas “Elementary” and “Vegas”. Each is set to get 22 episodes this season reports Deadline.
The modern day Sherlock Holmes procedural “Elementary” has been the second biggest hit new series this Fall behind only NBC’s “Revolution”.
Averaging 14.3 million viewers per episode and a 3.5/10 key demo rating, the show has also scored decent reviews, proving itself much more a typical CBS procedural than expected and thus quite distinct and different to the BBC’s superior “Sherlock”.
“Vegas” has also been a solid performer for CBS, averaging 14.9 million viewers and 2.7/8 rating. The network has already cancelled its third Fall drama “Made In Jersey”, but the fate of its sitcom “Partners” is still uncertain.
