Gordon-Levitt Joins “Django”, “Rush” Delayed

“Inception” and “50/50” star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti Western “Django Unchained” reports Variety.

Gordon-Levitt intends to do the movie, but scheduling issues have to be sorted out first which would allow him to do so. Shooting kicks off in New Orleans in January.

Meanwhile the David Koepp-directed thriller “Premium Rush”, in which Levitt plays a bike messenger pursued by a violent cop (Michael Shannon), has been pushed back by eight months.

Originally scheduled for January 13th 2012, Sony has now opted to open the film in a late summer bow on August 24th 2012. The first trailer for the film came out last month and can be watched here.
