Green Hat Films has picked up the film rights to Guy Lawson’s Rolling Stone article “Arms and the Dudes” reports Variety.
The story follows two stoners, David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli, who won a $ 300 million contract from the Pentagon to arm America’s allies in Afghanistan.
The two made 85 deliveries before federal agents raided their Miami Beach offices in 2007. The project is being developed as a potential directing vehicle for “The Hangover” film series helmer Todd Phillips.
