“All Is Lost” Features No Dialogue

During the opening press conference for the Sundance Film Festival yesterday, Robert Redford spoke a little about his role in the lost at sea survival drama “All is Lost” in which he stars.

“Margin Call” director J.C. Chandor directed the film which we already knew would essentially be a one man show with the 75 year-old Redford playing a sailor who must battle against the elements to stay alive.

The big surprise is that not only is Redford alone, the film apparently has “no dialogue.” Sound effects sure, score likely, but zip in the way of speaking or monologues.
