Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, the three members of the Wolf Pack in the two “The Hangover” films, are asking for $ 15 million apiece along with a back end percentage to reprise their roles in a third film in the series says The Hollywood Reporter.
Cooper, Galifianakis and Helms each made a little under $ 1 million for the first film but took home more than $ 10 million each for the sequel ($ 5 million in salary, the rest in back end compensation). It also looks like the studio is going to acquiesce to their demand for this outing.
Cooper revealed late last year that a script was already on the way and shooting was to kick off in September. Now however it seems Warner Bros. Pictures wants to move faster than that – trying to get the comedy into production during the Summer so it can be slotted in for a Memorial Day 2013 release.
With the first set in Las Vegas and the second in Thailand, this supposed ‘trilogy capper’ will primarily be set in Los Angeles.
