A bright patch in education?

The Vice-Chair of the New Westminster School Board says this school year promises to be a bit more stable, at least to start.

Michael Ewen is glad the teachers have a contract to start the school year, and says that should lead to more stability but does admit there’s the potential for that to change, “It’ll be interesting to see, you know, the Court case, it will be interesting to see with the New Minister, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the election. You know, the next 10 months are going to be very interesting.”

Ewen was referencing the teachers’ Court challenge to Bill 22, the appointment of outgoing Education Minister George Abbott’s replacement and the Provincial election set for May.
