Langley RCMP say at this point, it appears to be just a tragic accident.
A woman, said to be a trainer and experienced rider, is dead after falling off a horse this afternoon.
It happened at a stable in the 300 block of 232nd street.
RCMP Staff Sgt. David Brown said “this female rider, you know, was found injured. Nobody had witnessed the accident happen.”
Brown says the woman, who was in her fifties, was medivacked out, and taken to Royal Columbian hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
