Coroner identifies man who died after police standoff

The BC Coroners Service has identified the man shot dead by police at a standoff at the Starlight Casino. He was 48-year-old Mehrdad Bayrami of Richmond. German shepherd found injured in a Kits dumpster has died

A mountain biker who died last week on Cypress Mountain has been identified. West Vancouver police say he was Jonathan Tobias Pilley. A woman has died after falling off a horse in Langley.
