A two-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after falling into a home swimming pool in Surrey.
It happened just after noon today.
CKNW spoke with BC Ambulance spokesperson Kelsie Carwithen
“BC Ambulance Service did receive a call at 12:15 this afternoon to the area of 9600 block of 129 Street in Surrey for water related injuries. At that point in time we set resources to the scene – advanced life support, basic life support and our infant transport team – and transported one patient in serious condition to Surrey Memorial Hospital.”
The child remains in hospital.
