A delicate rescue operation is underway this hour at a school in Coquitlam’s Westwood Plateau.
RCMP and Conservation Officers are here at Summit Middle School and Community Centre, where 2 bear cubs are trapped in a garbage bin with their mother nearby.
Mounties got the call at 2:40am and it’s been a tricky situation since.
Right now the attention seems to be focused on getting the mother bear away…
