Body Parts update

The Vancouver Police are turning over the investigation into body parts mailed to two Vancouver schools yesterday to Montreal Police.

After noting the packaging and addresses on the boxes sent to False Creek Elementary and St. Georges School were similar to the packages addressed to Conservative and Liberal party headquarters, Vancouver Police made the decision to turn the investigation over.

As a result, the right hand and right foot will be sent to Montreal later today for further testing.

At this point, the body parts sent to the Vancouver schools have not been linked to any victim.

Meanwhile, a link between eastern Canada’s body parts suspect Luka Magnotta and B-C has been discovered.

According to the Ottawa Citizen, Magnotta’s 2007 bankruptcy filing shows he owed 68-hundred dollars to a Burnaby auto leasing company.
