Vision Vancouver looks to be losing a City Councillor.
Councillor Adriane Carr says she talked to Geoff Meggs who told her is going to finally make the jump into Provincial politics, “I just talked to Geoff Meggs at a little event with the Vancouver District Labour Council and asked him, ‘well Geoff, have you made up your mind yet around whether you are going to run’ he said, ‘Yup. I just put my papers in. I put my papers in to run for the NDP in the upcoming Provincial Election.”
Carr says Meggs told her he will carry the NDP flag in Vancouver-Fairview.
Last weekend, fellow civic politician Constance Barnes announced she will run for the NDP in Vancouver-False Creek.
