West Vancouver Police and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after the death of a mountain biker near Cypress Bowl.
Constable Tammy Khorram with West Vancouver Police, says police were notified by BC Ambulance shortly after 2 PM, “I understand he’s in his forties and that he was not alone, and unfortunately has succumbed to his injuries on the mountain.”
It happened off-road, near the West Lake Access Road of Cypress Bowl.
Khorram says the death is not considered suspicious. She says a preliminary investigation indicates it is a tragic accident.
