The BC Ferry and Marine Workers’ Union has a new President.
Incumbent Richard Goode losing his spot to Chris Abbott.
The new boss says his first order of business is getting members re-engaged, “We have to get our bargaining so it’s on a level playing field, and not having legislation that claims it prevails over our constitutional rights.”
Abbott’s job comes with a term of three years.
