Greyhound to consider refunds after Christmas Eve debacle

Greyhound says it will consider refunds, but not across-the-board refunds, following a Christmas Eve debacle that stranded dozens of passengers in Kamloops.

They’d been trying to to get from Vancouver to Calgary for Christmas.

The company says it will discuss potential refunds with passengers one by one.

The passengers say they didn’t get a clear explanation as to why their bus to Calgary wasn’t showing up.

At least one passenger ended up booking a flight out, and another took a cab to Lake Louise, Alberta with another family.

That ended up costing eight hundred dollars.

The bus the passengers were supposed to transfer onto didn’t have any interior heat because of a mechanical problem.

It took about six or seven hours to arrange for another coach.
