John van Dongen puts the Premier on the hot seat over BC Rail memo

One time BC Liberal MLA and now BC Conservative party member John Van Dongen says the BC Rail memo raises lots of questions.

Talking earlier with Simi Sara on CKNW he says the memo fits with other evidence forwarded to him by the special prosecutor’s office just last week.

Van Dongen says the memo also substantiates concerns he has been raising about the premier.

“First of all is she going to outright deny any of this, she is avoiding answering, and what I was going to start to say was on March 26th when I resigned it took her 22 hours to respond to my resignation I identified BC Rail as an issue and she said there are no unanswered questions well and I can tell you there is lots of unanswered questions.”

Van Dongen says Christy Clark has a responsibility

“And one of the issues where there is unanswered questions is on her personal conduct so is she prepared to submit that issue to a public inquiry because if she wants to clear it up she should.”

Simi Sara “Do you think we will ever get these answers?”

“We have to continue to purse them I will continue to pursue them.”

Van Dongen was granted intervenor status in the BC Supreme Court case as the Auditor General tries to look into the legal payout to both Basi and Virk.
