More guilty pleas to come in Stanley Cup riot

More guilty pleas from accused Stanley Cup rioters, but it doesn’t look like they’ll learn their fate any time soon.

Nineteen-year-old Rag Gue Kim of Kelowna has entered guilty pleas to participating in a riot, mischief over $ 5,000 and arson, but he won’t be sentenced until next year.

Neither will 19-year-old Burnaby resident Johnny Chou, who has pleaded guilty to participating in a riot and two counts of break and enter.

The court system is already flooded with more than 100 accused rioters, with many more who’ve yet to be charged. So far, only three rioters have been sentenced.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Anthony Larsen appears ready to plead guilty with a July 17 court date set aside.

The Surrey man is charged with participating in a riot, and break and enter.
