No VPD wrong-doing in “DJ Qualls” case

Several months after a “B-List” Hollywood actor accused a Vancouver police officer of beating him, investigators have found no evidence of wrong-doing.
DJ Qualls made the accusations via Twitter last September… claiming his injuries were serious enough to warrant an $ 800 visit to emergency.
He posted dozens of messages about being handcuffed and assaulted in the Granville entertainment district after witnessing a fight and trying to help police make an arrest.
BC’s police complaint commissioner has determined his complaint was unsubstantiated… and there will be no further action.
The actor – best known for his role in the movie “Road Trip” – was in the city to appear on the locally-shot TV series “Supernatural.”
