Obstruction charge laid in hang gliding death

 

A charge has now been laid in connection with a deadly hang-gliding accident on Saturday.

Just before noon,  27 year old Lenami Godinez died after falling nearly one thousand feet after launching on a tandem flight from Mount Woodside in Agassiz.

The pilot of the hang glider, 50 year old William Johnathon Orders of Burnaby, has now been charged with obstruction of justice.

The accusation is police think he may have been withholding evidence as to the potential cause of the crash.
