Nearly a year later, charges have been laid in the death of an inmate at Mission Institution. Troy Robert Squires, a dangerous offender, was killed December 2nd, 2011 at the medium-security prison. Charge laid in New Westminster murder

Charges have now been laid in connection with the murder of 26 year old January Lupaz in New Westminster. A Gibsons woman is facing a charge of possession of child pornography. The charge was laid after multiple search warrants were executed.
