Good news for fire evacuees in Peachland.
Officials say the evacuation order will be rescinded later this afternoon for the approximately 260 people still out of their homes.
But an evacuation alert will still be in effect.
That means about 16-hundred people will need to be ready to leave at a moment’s notice.
