A wildfire is burning fast west of Peachland. Peachland Mayor Keith Fielding says it's actually outside his district, so no evacuation alerts are in place for his residents at this time. It's a sad reminder of the importance of life-jackets. A 43-year old man from Metro Vancouver is dead after a boat capsized yesterday afternoon on Headwaters Lake, west of Peachland. A small float plane has crash landed near Highway 97 in the Okanagan.
