Chilliwack RCMP are investigating the theft of six poppy fund collection boxes from businesses along Vedder Road.
The thefts occured over the past five days and were discovered when members of the Royal Canadian Legion attended to change out the boxes.
The poppy fundraiser runs for only 11 days and the Chilliwack legion on average raises twenty thousand dollars to help local veterans.
