Premier Clark dismisses concerns regarding her government and BC place

Saying the deal wasn’t done, Premier Christy Clark is dismissing concerns her government has fractured its relationship with Telus by cancelling plans to give the company naming rights to BC place.

Telus offered the province 35-million dollars over 20-years,  along with tens of millions in infrastructure — already installed in the stadium.

The province is currently negotiating terms to pay Telus back for that wiring.

According to the original pav-co proposal, the province wanted 50-million dollars over 20-years.
