Protesters have clashed with police, as Immigration Minister Jason Kenney prepares to address the Surrey Board of Trade.
Demonstrators have been blocking the entrance to a golf club where local business leaders are gathered to have breakfast with Kenney.
For several min
utes, the RCMP had been pleading with them to move off the private property.
“He is a public officer!!! he refuses to come out and speak with the public!!!”
The protestors are angry with the federal government for cutting off health care funding to refugees.
So far, no arrests have been made.
