North Vancouver RCMP say they’re investigating the discovery of possible human remains.
They were found in a wooded area behind a motel on Curling Road, just west of Capilano Road.
Corporal Richard De Jong says there’s still a chance the remains are those of an animal.
“That’s correct, hopefully the forensic identification service can determine that here in the next immediate time.”
Police have been at the scene since early Saturday evening.
