Rave sex assault trial

The trial of a young man from Maple Ridge accused of distributing child pornography resumed this morning… with testimony from Dennis Warrington’s arresting officers.

The 21-year old was arrested after admitting he posted graphic photos on his Facebook page two years ago.

The pictures were sent to his cell phone by the boy who took them at a September 2010 rave party involving a 16-year old girl allegedly being sexually assaulted.

Corporal Adam Gander was one of the lead investigators.

He says dozens of photos -possibly more than 50- were retrieved from Warrington’s Blackberry.

Earlier, he testified Warrington asked him if he could brush his teeth before leaving his home on the day he was taken into custody.

Gander says he didn’t put handcuffs on him because he was cooperative and pleasant.
