RCMP to investigate suspicious fire in Surrey

A fire in Surrey has left six people without a home.

Breaking out at just before six o’clock near the intersection of 130a Street and 96th Avenue, Surrey Fire battalion chief Douglas Munn says the mounties have been called in.

“RCMP are holding the site for an inspector to do an investigation in the morning, and usually if that’s the case it is suspicious.”

All six residents managed to escape the two-alarm fire without injuries.
