Relatives of six victims set to speak at Missing Women Inquiry

This week’s testimony at the Missing Women Inquiry will primarily come from the relatives of six victims.

Lila Purcell lost her niece Tanya Holyk and Marilyn Kraft is the step-mother of Cindy Feliks.

Daphne Pierre is the sister of Jacqueline Murdock, Sandra Gagnon’s sister was Janet Henry, Bonnie Fowler lost her sister Georgina Papin and Lisa Bigjohn is Mona Wilson’s sister.

The commission–primarily investigating why serial killer Robert Pickton wasn’t caught sooner– will only hear two more weeks of testimony.

Former Attorney General Wally Oppal is also examining why an attempted murder charge was dropped in 1998… four years before Pickton’s final arrest.

Pickton later confessed to killing 49 women, but in 2007… he was convicted of killing six.
