Six men are facing charges linked to a recent gang-related kidnapping in East Vancouver.
The men are all in their 20s-either from Vancouver or Coquitlam.
Superintendant Tom McCluskie wouldn’t say much about the actual incident, only saying the intended victim was being tracked and the men are connected to the Independent Soldiers Gang.
“I’m not at liberty to speak about that right now as I stated,” he said. “I think it’s important to understand this is still under investigation. There may be other charges coming forward and until we know, it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to speak at this time on that.”
Eleven high-powered weapons were also seized.
