Snow continues to snarl morning commute

Much of the morning rush hour commute heading into downtown Vancouver has been at a standstill.

By 9:30 on a regular weekday, traffic is usually flowing at a steady pace, but thanks to today’s snowfall, much of which has already melted,  cars, trucks and buses have been stuck idling more than 30 minutes.

Translink has been reporting backlogs along several routes and drivers hoping to use side streets to make their way to work have had their signal lights flashing as long as 15 minutes.
