All four categories of the Sun Run have their winners… with three coming from BC!
With a time of 29:13, 22-year old Kelly Wiebe of Regina secures the men’s category, and is the overall winner.
At 34:13, Natasha Fraser of Port Moody wins in the women’s category.
Kelly Smith of Vancouver comes out on top in the men’s wheelchair category.
Michelle Stilwell of Vancouver Island is the women’s wheelchair winner.
Tens of thousands of people took part in the annual 10 kilometre run.
The route took them down West Georgia Street, through Stanley Park, English Bay, over the Burrard Bridge and back across Cambie — to finish at BC Place.
