An explosion about 8:30 last night has Surrey RCMP attending a home at 140-A Street and 72nd avenue.
Police are now investigating the possibility a meth lab was located in the basement of that home.
Police are concerned about the possibility of dangerous chemicals in the building and the danger they pose to neighbours.
No injuries have been reported.
