Vancouver Police have confirmed the city's first murder of the year was targeted, but they're not convinced it was gang-related. A substitute teacher in Surrey has been suspended after allegedly moonlighting as a pot dealer in Vancouver and he's not just accused of selling marijuana. Corrections officer at Kent Institution arrested on drug charges

A corrections officer is accused of trafficking drugs into Kent Institution near Agassiz. RCMP say Paul Fleming was arrested at the prison yesterday. Starting in April the province is making changes so you will pay less for generic medication. Health Minister Margaret McDiarmid days new drug price regulation will drop the cost of geric drugs from 25% of brand name drug price in 2013 to 20% in 2014.
