Two seniors have died and a third person is missing following a tubing accident on the Kettle River near Grand Forks.
It happened yesterday afternoon.
RCMP Corporal Dan Moskaluk says the trio was in a group of 13 when they were swept up in the current and forced over a set of waterfalls.
“The deceased has been identified as a 75-year old male, a resident of Christina Lake. Search and rescue technicians late yesterday evening did locate the body of the man’s wife, a 71-year old woman, however, they were unable to recover her body before nightfall.”
Moskaluk adds the search continues for a 50-year old man from Scotland.
