UBC student latest to plead guilty on riot charges

A UBC student caught on camera after last year’s Stanley Cup riot has entered a guilty plea.

Twenty-one year-old Camille Cacnio apologized online soon after the riot for stealing a pair of men’s pants and was soon fired from her job at Burrard Acura.

A sentencing hearing has been set for June 20th.

Cacnio is the third accused rioter to officially enter a guilty plea, which saves taxpayers the cost of going to trial
