The first Stanley Cup rioter to avoid jail time has delivered another apology for his actions that wild night last year.
Dated yesterday, the five-paragraph apology from Robert Snelgrove starts off by him saying how much he wishes he could turn back time before the riots, and make choices the night of June 15th, 2011.
He goes on to say he loves the city of Vancouver and he’s proud to live here.
He would never have wanted to do anything to bring down the reputation of the city and the people in it.
He also says he’s deeply sorry for his actions that night, saying he made a fool of himself and he’s realized a lot about himself, including alcohol can be a problem for him.
This morning he said nothing inside or outside court when he delivered the apology.
