Voters in two BC ridings are casting ballots in provincial by-elections today.
Polling stations in Port Moody-Coquitlam and Chilliwack-Hope have been open since eight this morning.
Elections BC spokesperson Don Main said turnout has been steady, but not overwhelming.
“I haven’t had any reports of line-ups, other than there are people that are showing up to vote.”
In addition to a spike at midday, Main expects turnout to increase mid to late afternoon as people head home from work.
Voting ends at eight this evening, with early results expected within the hour.
