Woman faces charges after brandishing machete

Charges of assault and possession of a dangerous weapon are pending for a woman who brandished a machete on Commercial Drive.
Vancouver police say they tried stunning the woman with a Taser to get her to drop the weapon.
When that didn’t work, they fired bean-bag rounds.
Police say she was taken to hospital for a hand injury and then will be taken to jail.
