Search Leader Tim Jones says a woman in her 60s had fractured her ankle on an alpine trail on Mount Seymour.
“We responded from our Bone Creek helistation with a joint operation with North Shore Rescue and GVRD fire attack personnel that were based at the same area… a combined team went in.”
The woman was given morphine at the scene…
A long-line operation was then used to bring the woman off the mountain.
