Vancouver Police are putting out a warning after a woman was sexually assaulted this morning while walking near West 49th Avenue and Alberta Street.
It happened around 6:40 this morning.
The victim, in her late 50’s was out for a walk this morning in the 200 block of West 49th when a man came up, grabbed her, dragged her into some nearby bushes and sexually assaulted her.
He ran off after the attack and the woman made her way home and called police an hour later.
The suspect is a white man in his 30’s or 40’s, about five foot ten.
He was wearing a black hat, black jacket and white pants.
