With shooting still underway in Los Angeles on “The Dark Knight Rises” a couple of little tidbits of new information have emerged. SPOILERS AHEAD.
First up Marion Cotillard has dismissed rumours that her character of Miranda Tate reveals herself to be the comic villainess Talia al Ghul. Asked by MTV if she took cues for her character from the Batman comics she said “Well, actually, it was not based off of a character in the comic.”
The reporter didn’t believe her and asked if she was telling the truth, she responded “Yes I am.” Asked if we talk to her in a year from now will we be able to say she was lying to us?, she emphatically replied “No!”.
More photos have emerged of Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt shooting scenes together, same with Bale and Anne Hathaway dressed in stylish daytime wear, and both Bale and Hathaway leaving some evening gala.
There’s also video of the Batwing in Los Angeles confirming a scene with it will be shot there, and video of Bale and Gary Oldman rehearsing a scene on a platform over a river bed.
