The B.C. director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation spoke at the B.C. Conservatives annual general meeting Friday night.
Jordan Bateman told a crowd of about 150 that the current governing methods in this province remind him a bit of Frankenstein – patchwork solutions to save what is ultimately a monster.
Calling on a need for proactive leadership, he cited a number of previous premiers as examples to follow – including W.A.C.Bennett, Duff Pattullo and Gordon Campbell.
He also went on the offensive as well, describing the Pacific Carbon Trust a scam, and calling for an end to the carbon tax and the medical services premium.
