Premier Christy Clark continues to face questions about the recent firing of her former Chief of Staff Ken Boessenkool.
Much like she did last week, Clark refused to explain exactly why there’s no formal paperwork on the decision.
The Vancouver Sun’s Freedom of Information request turned up nothing.
This time, Globe and Mail reporter Ian Bailey was asking the question.
BAILEY: “Doesn’t the absence of paper leave the government vulnerable to suit if there’s no record to see how this decision was made?”
CLARK: “No. I don’t think so, and I answered most of those questions last week already. Thank you, everybody.”
Boessenkool’s dismissal came after an incident involving a female staffer at a Victoria pub.
Lynda Tarras, the head of the BC Public Service Agency, was in charge of the investigation.
