Transportation Minister Blair Lekstrom says he needs time to review Translink commissioner Martin Crilly’s full report on the agency today but in general he agrees with its conclusions.
He said “but it does build upon I think what the public sentiment is out there which is look, we understand we have a world class transit system, we understand it costs a significant amount of money to run it, but we want to be very sure, before we have to put additional dollars into this, that the organization in Translink is being run as effectively and efficiently as possible.”
Lekstrom says the report backs up the government’s push for a full audit of Translink.
