Body found in North Vancouver was that of missing foreign exchange student

The BC Coroner’s Service says the man found dead near a hiking trail in North Vancouver yesterday was missing hiker Jasper Houben.

The 22-year-old German exchange student was reported missing a few days ago.

His family had flown in from Germany to help find him. Foul play is not suspected.
