People living on Barnston Island are being told their evacuation alert has been lifted.
The alert went out June 21st as the Fraser River began to threaten to overflow its banks.
With the water levels receding, Metro Vancouver has pulled the alert but staff will continue to monitor the levels at Mission until they fall below six metres.
