Lockdown lifted at Surrey school

A Lockdown at Johnston Heights Secondary in Surrey has been lifted. District officials say students were confined to their classrooms earlier because someone reported seeing someone nearby with what appeared to be a gun. Evacuation alert lifted for Barnston Island

People living on Barnston Island are being told their evacuation alert has been lifted. The alert went out June 21st as the Fraser River began to threaten to overflow its banks.
