Parents at David Livingstone Elementary are upset about the District changing principals at their, “little school that could”
PAC spokesperson Sharon Jacobs says 12 year principal David Brook is being moved out as the Vancouver School District makes some changes.
Jacobs says the administrative shuffle affecting staff across the district is a case of bad timing, “There is a lot of change right now. They had 40 administrative changes. It was a very difficult and tense year, this year in the public schools. And very challenging with the lack of contract, and then some job action, and imposing work rules and all of that going on and what we get at the end of it is this huge shake up.”
Jacobs says they would like a year long phase in process so the new principal could be groomed for the job but the district won’t meet with them.
