Possible break in health care dispute

There may be a break in a three-way dispute involving the provincial government, the BC Medical Association, and the BC Anesthesiologists’ Society.

The government says the society has decided not to withdraw its services as part of a contract dispute.

Instead, they will discuss those issues as part of the ongoing contract talks to renew the BCMA’s physician master agreement.

In return, the government will ask that a  pending court case against the Anasthesiologists Society be adjourned.
